Numbers and Their Importance in these Three Forms of Art

The numbers 3, 5, 7, 9 and 12 are featured in all the three sciences and arts we are dealing with here.  Whether it is music, astrology or Kundalini, the numeric Three (3) is very basic. The basic three musical notes are explained as the Three Graamas in music, viz. Shadja Graama, Madhyama Graama and Panchama Graama.  (Please note: that Gaandhaara Graama was in vogue earlier, but as I have come to understand, Gaandhaara is not a note which is a direct derivative of the basic note Shadja and hence cannot be assigned a Graama.)

Consider the number1. How does 1 becomes 2? Is it really 2? Don't use your logic, it will fail in this. For 1 to become 2 what is the essential thing? If 1 needs to become 2 what would be the main barrier? 1 has to cross a situation called 1.5 for it to completely become 2. Otherwise every attempt will recede for its innate nature of being "1" Now there are three spots: 1, 1.5 and 2.Are these 3 in all? or 3 positions i mean? There are other positions interwoven as well, within these three positions. We can't see it yet.

Now consider where is all this happening? Perhaps on your computer screen, so that is another position. i.e. space. So, where is the computer? In your bedroom or the living room. Where is the room? IN your house. The house is in a particular city, state and country as well. So all these add up as numbers , recorded subconsciously in our mind. This process goes on till one  becomes Cosmic. Hence, there is ONLY 1 now consider this 1... 2....3.....5.....8.....13.....21.....34.....55......89....144 and so on. What do these numbers connote? "Intervals" that is called the Golden ratio. The number 1 to 2 has one interval, the numbers 2 and 3 also have 1 the number 3 and 5 have 2, 5 and 8 have 3 and so on. 

8 and 13 has 5, 13 and 18 has five as well. the addition of the previous two numbers gives us the third Like, 1 + 1= 2, 1 + 2 = 3, 2 + 3 = 5, 3 + 5 = 8, 5 + 8 = 13, 8 + 13 = 21 and so on. The ratio between your shoulder blade to your finger tip and that from shoulder blade to your elbow will be the same as "Head to toe and head to navel or hip girdle to the foot and hip girdle to knee joint.

Another funny thing about the story of "1" 1, 2, 3, 4(Time), 5, 6, 7, 8 (Time again), 9, 10, 11, 12(Time again ( 13th is the dissolution of all the previous 12) 1st dimension is Thought, 2nd dimension is Manifestation, transcendental flow 3rd dimension is Manifested, Matter, or Solid objects. 4th dimension is the Time for this realm, or the computer screen where we are seeing that frame work of intervals. Then there is a slightly higher realm, next stage called 5th dimension, that is the thought process of higher realms. then 6th manifestation, transcendental  manifested realm in higher states is 7th and a Time different from ours called the 8th dimension. The 9th would be a thought level of another realm, then one more level of created and it will become Time again at 12th. Then, why did I say earlier that it would dissolve on the 13th? Because 13 is a very strange number. 

Going back to sound vibrations for a bit, un-struck sound and struck sound, combine to make a Whole Tone and that is why, the Self or Supreme Self is nothing but a 'Tone' of a very high class caliber and has a specific value. That value doesn't change and that is why, we say it quite unknowingly "Oh that Musical sound just touched my Soul" Time comes into being-ness only when we compute it, same is with Tone. in Other words Time = Tone. The division of either time or tone becomes the intervals or microtones. Then the journey from one to 12, 6 is the half way stage and a horizontal 8 is the symbol we use for infinity. Each of the self generated harmonic of any tone would take us to a sequence of 1 becoming 5, then 5 becoming 9, 9 takes us to 13 and so on. So, the peaking is till 13, after which there is a declination. 

144 is the sacred number for many faiths around the world. So is 72 or 12 or 6 or 3 or 1. For example, 12 x 12 = 144, hence we always have a reference from the vedic traditions that there are 72,000 nerve centers in human consciousness. 72 musical scales possible within an octave, similarly a person's heart beat repeats itself in 72 seconds. Then, consider the number 72 in another format, such as 6 X 12 = 72 or 24(hours) X 3 = 72. So many diff combinations will arrive at 72. So why 144? It is like the two wings of the same butterfly that cause mirror images. you have 72000 of feminine and 72000 of masculine, to get us to 144,000 possibilities combined for men and women.

The number is constantly 144000, whether we have a combination of 70,000 and 74,000 or 64,000 and 80,000. This is  why, we have Gays, Hermaphrodites, Eunuchs. In equilibrium state of creation also we have an inequality like 33.94 of rhythm, 33 of mobility and 33.06 of inertia. If in a musical octave we consider sound waves to be represented as C, #C, D, bE, E, F, #F, G, bA, A, bB, B, C is the Octave, then we have 13 placements on any octave of a musical expression. Consider the musical tone form rather than numbers. now, the harmonics conform to themselves in creation thus:-

C jumps to G, G to D, D to A, A to E, E to B, B to F sharp and hence F sharp would not come back to C, but it will take us to a new dimensional counterpart of "C" which would be renamed C-sharp {#C).

Each of these are arrived at by following this simple rule of universal laws, Spiral of fifths. Hence we have 

C, d, e, f,  G ( G being the fifth harmonic of C) and C being inverse of the same, so C is Fourth Harmonic of G. The Fifth Harmonic of C would in the lower octave than where C is represented on the scale as F.

The intervals in between are diatonic namely d, e ,f in the above representation. Now what would D give as a harmonic? D, e, f, g, A = A. What would E get to? E, f, g, a, B= B, then F, g, a, b, C and many more such combinations. Then finally, F, g, a, b, C. But since B to its fifth harmonic would F-sharp(#F) and not F as originally thought, F-sharp on its harmonic sequence would end up producing its fifth, which would be C-sharp. This would be F-sharp, A-flat, B-Flat, C, #C.
